With regards to the terms used in this data protection declaration, we refer to the definitions in Article 4 GDPR.

b) Legal basis

When visiting our website, personal data such as contact data, usage data, meta and communication data of our visitors are processed.

The legal basis for the processing of the data is found in Article 6 (1) GDPR.

Insofar as the processing of the data is based on our legitimate interest, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, whereby our legitimate interest is usually the secure and efficient operation of this online offer or our economic interest.

9.Duration of storage of personal data

As a matter of principle, we only store your data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the data was originally collected and your consent has not been revoked or you have not objected to the processing.

We store your personal data for no longer than the respective statutory retention periods.

We therefore store data that must be retained for reasons of commercial or tax law for 6 years in accordance with Section 257 (1) HGB (German commercial code) and for 10 years in accordance with Section 147 (1) AO (German fiscal code).

After expiry of the respective period, your data will be routinely deleted unless it is required for the fulfilment or initiation of a contract and there is no legitimate interest for us to continue processing it.
